Amy Leach

Director

Amy grew up in Lancashire and attended the youth theatre at the Bolton Octagon Theatre. On graduating from Durham University, Amy co-founded the award winning theatre company for young people, en masse, which tours nationally and created The Wonderful Wizard of Oz in association with The Dukes at Christmas. For en masse, Amy has also directed and produced UK tours of Spaceship ’87, The Echo Chamber, The Ignatius Trail, The Shelter, The Iceberg and We All Fall Down.

Amy trained on the National Theatre Directors Course and is an Associate Artist of The Dukes and of the National Youth Theatre. Her recent directing credits include The Grimm Brothers’ Circus for Theatre Royal Bath/the egg, Sabbat for The Dukes, and Dr Korczak’s Example for the Royal Exchange Theatre in Manchester (MEN Award Winner for Best Studio Production 2008).

This summer, Amy will direct Peter Pan in Williamson Park for The Dukes.
