The Ideal Corporate Event
Annual open-air production at Williamson Park (just off M6 J34)
Every July/August the Dukes produces the biggest walkabout theatre event in the UK, with full corporate hospitality facilities and easily accessible from M6.
The Dukes Promenade season is a fully-fledged theatre production in the open air, complete with scenery, lighting, sound and special effects. Walk from one specially constructed set to another, and enjoy the play, the spectacle and the beautiful surroundings.
Every year there's a new production: usually a classic adventure story and as darkness gathers at the close of the performance, the sunsets across Morecambe Bay with the Lakeland Hills in the background can be truly awesome.
Whatever your corporate entertainment needs - whether related to staff, valued clients, potential clients or special suppliers - there's likely to be an appropriate hospitality package on offer. The fabulous Palladian architecture of the Ashton Memorial building will host your pre-show buffet reception and interval refreshments. Typical party sizes vary from 40 to 100, and we'll serve the buffet and drinks menu of your choice.
For information on corporate hospitality, please ring Jan Shorrock at the Dukes on 01524 598505 or email marketing@dukes-lancaster.org. For general ticket availability, please call 01524 598500 or email tickets@dukes-lancaster.org

The region's leading independent cinemaDukes Cinema is one of the leading independent screens in the UK. Supported by a monthly colour brochure and pre-screening powerpoint advertising, Dukes Cinema is a phenomenally strong brand and ideal if you wish to reach a mainly local, younger audience with active lifestyles and high leisure spend.
Access sponsorship - help us to provide a much-needed service
The Dukes has a long-term commitment to build links with people with disabilities. With recent funding from Arts Council North West our Access Officer, Ros Forster, has created many valuable links with individuals and community groups. We are now seeking ways of supporting up to four audio-described performances for visually-impaired local people and British Sign Language interpreted performances.
An annual provision, including the services of the part-time liaison officer, is high on the list of our prorities and would require an investment in the region of £5,000.
We would be happy to discuss any part of this service - e.g. a BSL-interpreted performance of this year's Christmas production for deaf people and their families to attend at a cost of £500.
Youth Arts Centre
Working with a range of community, disabled and non-disabled young people the Youth Arts Centre is based at the former Church on Moor Lane. Fully-equipped with drama workshop facilities including lighting, sound and video production facilities. Youth Arts Centre is a partnership project between the Dukes, Lancashire County Council and the Adult College, Lancaster. it provides an important opportunity for young people of all backgrounds to participate in arts activities. The production of The Threepenny Opera developed by Shattering Images Theatre Company - made up entirely of young people with disabilities - was shortlisted for the National Student Drama Festival.
Support of this facility - which has become an essential part of the lives of many of its users - is credited in all reports to Dukes funding partners, audited accounts and inside the Centre. The level of support and credit is open to discussion with interested businesses and foundations.
To discuss sponsorship opportunities with us, please ring Amanda Belcham, Chief Executive at the Dukes on 01524 598505 or email abelcham@dukes-lancaster.org
