NEW 'How To Be Happy' Educational Workshop Day

Teachers' Forum

The Dukes has established a Teacher’s Forum for Primary, Secondary, HE and FE teachers and lecturers. The Forum is facilitated by the Creative Learning Department which exists to provide high quality educational and creative participatory projects for young people aged 5-25 years. 

Forum members include: Heysham High School, Lancaster Girls Grammar, Central Lancaster High School, Beaumont College, University of Cumbria, Christchurch C of E Primary and Carnforth High.

Since April 2008 the Forum members have accessed numerous learning opportunities for their students including: Script to Stage events, backstage tours, creative writing workshops linked to Dukes productions, devising theatre workshops, creative INSET opportunities and bespoke drama workshops. The Creative Learning Department has a continual programme of activity which schools can access.
