Event

A Blaze commission in association with The Dukes

Hunter & Hunted

Date & Time

Thu 26 Aug 2010 to Fri 27 Aug 2010

Where

DT3

The Dukes invites you to take part in an interactive experience where the player is hunted through the streets of Lancaster.

Mobile Pie and young people from The Dukes have created a not-to-be-missed experience using location-based technologies. Pick up a mobile device from The Dukes, choose your role as hunter or hunted (think pac-man meets GPS), take to the streets and play the game accompanied by a soundtrack, stories and a set of challenges.

Call The Dukes Box Office on 01524 598500 to book a time to play, or pop into The Dukes to see if a mobile device is available between 1pm and 7pm on the dates above. In order to borrow a device you will need to bring proof of address and photo ID. We recommend you allow 1 hour for the experience.

Hunter and Hunted is part of Blaze, which is funded by Legacy Trust UK, part of WE PLAY and delivered in partnership with Lancashire County Council, Blackpool Council and Creative Lancashire.
WE PLAY, the North West cultural legacy project led by new regional partnerships and managed by Arts Council England.

To find out more and read blogs by the young producers, check out the Blaze website.

This Sound Superb!

This sounds like a superb idea. One I certainly hope I can get involved with. Congratulations to everyone who's helped get it off the ground and organise it. Hopefully see you next week for some GPS pac-man!
