Following the success of the 2010 festival, Lancaster Children's Film Festival will be returning to The Dukes for their Closing Gala Pyjama Party. Join them for a fantastic fim, prize giving and the winning short film from their Young Filmmakers Competition. Come along in your pyjamas and enjoy a complimentary cupcake from the Yummy Cupcake Company and don't forget your slippers and teddy.

Much loved aspects of English and Japanese culture collide in this delightful adaptation of The Borrowers from Studio Ghibli, producers of hits Spirited Away and Princess Mononoke.

In modern day Tokyo 14-year-old Arrietty lives under the floorboards with her tiny family, making their home from ‘borrowed’ items from the house above. The live in peaceful anonymity until a new family moves in above them and their young son discovers Arrietty’s existence.
