Three astronauts find themselves marooned on a planet where apes rule and humans are slaves in this science-fiction classic. Aided by a couple of compassionate chimps, one of the astronauts manages to escape to an uninhabited section of land. However, during the trek, he makes an unsettling discovery about the planet.
