Economic analysis undertaken for the North West Development Agency anticipates the value of the Dukes to the local and sub-regional economy will be £2.826 million in 2009/10. The expenditure associated with this level of achievement creates a further 26 Full Time Equivalents indirect jobs in local shops, cafes, pubs, taxis and suppliers. This is in addition to the 23 FTE posts directly employed by The Dukes.
