RUN NOW EXTENDED UNTIL SATURDAY 20 AUGUST.

To celebrate 25 years of The Dukes walkabout theatre in Williamson Park, we are bringing to life one of the oldest and most epic stories of all time.

Step into the Dark Ages, a time when England is in turmoil, battles rage and evil lurks behind every corner. When hope is almost lost, join the court of Camelot and follow Merlin, Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table as they lead the fight between good and evil.

With tales of enchantment, terrifying quests, a beautiful sorceress and a fearsome dragon, Merlin & the Legend of King Arthur mixes fantasy and reality in a family experience like no other.

So grab your picnic, sword and shield and come with The Dukes on our most magically medieval adventure yet.

Ticket Collection

Tickets are available to collect from The Dukes Box Office until 5.45pm. After that they can be collected from the Box Office at Williamson Park which is by the Wyresdale Road entrance to the park. They will be there from 6pm until 7.15pm, but we recommend you collect tickets by 7pm to ensure you reach the first scene in time for the start of the performance.

Tickets,

Hi,

Coming to see it on saturday and I am wondering how I collect the tickets? do I collect from the park or the theatre?

If it's the theatre what time can I collect them from and how far away is the park?

Many Thanks

Derren

Weather

The performance will go ahead tonight unless it is deemed too dangerous for cast, crew and our audience. Unfortunately we will not know the state of the park or what the weather will be like until nearer the time.

Weather

We are coming to watch Merlin tonight - been very excited about it!. But the weather is really bad and there are weather warnings in place for Lancashire. I no you leave it to the last minute to cancel but as we are travelling to Lancaster to watch it we don't want to arrive just to be turned away. Can you advise me on if it is going ahead tonight?

Thanks

merlin

the best performance ever

great show...

We had a wonderful time at "Merlin". Perfect mixture of humour, adrenalin and magic. Brilliant use of venues, and "seating". We all really really hope it isn't the last. Our group was wide-ranging, including 4 year old, and late teenage boys, and everyone absolutely loved it.

Excellent Magical show

thanks to the actors and production we had a very enjoyable evenings entertainment. The story line was exciting, humorous and involving, with the between scenes walks adding to the build up. The awe and wonderment on the kids faces brilliant. We do hope there will be some future for the Dukes in Williamsons Park

thanks again Pam and Tony Dodgson Kirkby Lonsdale

Photos

Flash photography is not allowed during Merlin and the Legend of King Arthur. It is distracting to the actors who have a lot to think about when acting in the park, most importanlty their safety during each scene. It is also distracting to other audience members and there are issues with copyright, depending on where people chose to display their images. Professional photography is not allowed without express permission of The Dukes Marketing Department. Front of House staff will ask those taking photos to stop.

Can I take a camera and take photos?

Re: Picnic

Hi, not to worry, the park won't close until after the park show has finished so you can come anytime before the show to have your picnic.
