Sophie is a little girl with a big heart and she’s going on a whizzpoppingly wonderful adventure this Christmas. One of Roald Dahl’s most popular children’s stories, The BFG follows Sophie as she meets the Big Friendly Giant and sets off on an unbelievable journey.  From her sleepy orphanage, to magical Dream Country and beyond, join Sophie in this brand new production promising excitement, just a touch of danger and larger than life characters. In a faithful adaptation of the classic story, The Dukes brings this heartwarming tale of friendship and bravery to the stage with amazing puppetry, masses of fun and plenty of surprises along the way. For all human beans aged 5+.

The BFG

I went to see this for my birthday, The Bfg was my favourite Roald Dahl book. This mindblowing adaptation of the fabulous book took me away into my imagination once again but as an adult, my 7 year old daughter also thought it was amazing. Well done to David Wood and all the very talented actors that made a very special book come to life. The actor that played the BFG was outstanding! Thanks The Dukes

BFG Running Time

As The BFG is still in rehearsal we can't confirm the running time. However, we aim for the show to be approximately 2 hours long including the interval.

We will know a definite running time w/c Mon 21 Nov.

Please could you let me know the running time of the BFG? Thanks.
